We conducted a market survey among Dutch people between the ages of 16 and 60, asking the question 'Do you ever need a private office space?'.
1] Nearly 40% of respondents indicated that they sometimes need a private office space.
Men indicate a need for this more often than women. In both groups, the vast majority (approx. 80%) are under 50 years old.
2] When asked 'What would stop you from booking a private office space?', the main reason that would stop people is the likely cost.
For over a quarter of the respondents, travel time would be a deterrent. For some, missing certain workplace facilities is a reason not to book a private office.
3] When asked what the expected costs are for a private day office, the number varies.
A large group of people estimate it at €60 per day, with a small group below €40 per day. Remaining respondents expect to be higher, up to €140 per day.
Market research conclusion There seems to be sufficient demand for booking a private day office.
The main reasons for this are being able to work undisturbed and quietly, more privacy and less distraction.
The likely costs are the main reason not to choose to book a private office for a day. Fortunately, we at WorkSnap can offer a solution here!
